Sales Manager – South
£60,000 per annum
Full Time, permanent 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – South to join our Sales & Commercial Team and build a rewarding career with us. As a key member of the Commercial Team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our team of Area Sales Managers, driving sales growth across the South of the UK, and delivering against ambitious commercial targets. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this field-based role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our national sales strategy while building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. We are looking for an inspiring sales leader with a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent coaching and relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Sales Manager – South:
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of Area Sales Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet commercial objectives.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse key metrics, and adapt strategies to maximise results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer insights.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to deliver successful sales initiatives.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and commercial updates to senior leadership.
- Manage the national sales budget, ensuring effective use of resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure excellent customer service by proactively resolving issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and accurate sales reporting.

Requirements as a Sales Manager – South:
- Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel extensively across the South of UK.
- Proven success in a Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or National Sales Manager role, in a B2B service environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- A proven leader with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-focused environment.
- Proficient in CRM software (OCOD) and Microsoft Office applications.
