Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Work-mode: Hybrid or remote (open for discussion)
Location: London
Salary: Up to £40,000 gross per annum, plus commissions and bonuses (negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications)
Our client is an established London-based air conditioning and cooling solutions specialist, providing tailored installation and related services to both commercial and residential customers.
With a strong focus on technical quality and customer service, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an experienced professional who can combine technical surveying expertise with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position suited to someone who understands air conditioning systems, is confident conducting site surveys and can convert opportunities into profitable projects while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B and B2C sales opportunities within the air conditioning and HVAC market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, contractors, and commercial partners
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess cooling requirements, site conditions, dimensions, and technical specifications
- Recommend appropriate air conditioning solutions based on individual client and site requirements
- Prepare and present tailored commercial proposals and quotations
- Negotiate commercial terms and convert opportunities into confirmed projects
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry and site survey through to contract agreement
- Coordinate closely with technical and installation teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped, planned, and delivered
- Maintain accurate records of surveys, client communications, quotations, and sales activity
- Manage an active sales pipeline and follow up consistently on outstanding opportunities
- Provide a high standard of customer service, responding to enquiries and clearly explaining proposed solutions
- Support clients throughout the project process and assist with post-installation queries where required
- Manage multiple surveys, opportunities, and projects while maintaining agreed deadlines and service standards

Requirements
- Previous B2B and/or B2C sales experience within air conditioning, HVAC, or a closely related industry
- Experience conducting site surveys and assessing client requirements
- Good technical understanding of air conditioning systems and installation processes
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to develop opportunities and close business
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicating technical information clearly to both commercial and residential customers
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems
- Proactive, energetic, and self-motivated approach to business development
- Full valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly to client sites across London and surrounding areas
