About The Role And Team
Uber for Business is looking for a strategic, hands-on Mid-Market Sales Manager to lead and scale our high-performing sales organization. This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from a distance; it's for a leader who thrives on the front lines, navigating the ambiguity of a fast-growing segment and turning complex business challenges into movement. You will be responsible for a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new customers and expanding our footprint through both Rides and Eats solutions.
The stakes are high and the pace is relentless. You'll need to balance the grit required for cold outreach and deal-closing with the sophistication needed to navigate C-level negotiations and cross-functional internal politics. We are looking for a self-starter who values ownership, adapts quickly to shifting market dynamics, and is energized by the "messy" reality of building a sales engine from the ground up. If you are a resilient leader who can coach a team to win while keeping the customer at the center of every decision, this is where you'll grow.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, coach, and mentor a team of Account Executives, setting clear expectations and driving a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and operationalize a go-to-market strategy to acquire and grow Mid-Market clients, ensuring alignment with regional revenue goals.
- Quarterback high-stakes C-level meetings, actively listening to business pain points and tailoring Uber's platform to solve real-world logistics and employee needs.
- Manage and report an accurate sales forecast and pipeline, holding the team accountable to monthly and quarterly targets through rigorous process discipline.
- Navigate internal complexity by partnering with Operations, Product, and Legal teams to unblock deals and streamline the customer onboarding experience.
- Represent Uber for Business at industry forums and events, building the brand and identifying new strategic partnership opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
