Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Leicester. The Sales Manager will oversee and grow customer accounts across trade supplier and commercial air conditioning and air source heat pump projects, including new installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing. The role will work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure proposals are accurate, jobs are scheduled effectively, and customer expectations are met. The Sales Manager will also monitor market trends, support pricing and promotional activities, and maintain detailed sales reports to support business planning.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within HVAC, building services, or a related technical industry.
- Strong customer relationship skills, including the ability to understand property requirements and recommend appropriate air conditioning and heat pump solutions.
- Competence in basic commercial skills such as quoting, negotiating, and closing sales, with attention to accuracy and profitability.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects, follow up on leads, and maintain clear records.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
- Comfort using standard office and CRM software to track opportunities, update customer information, and report on performance.
- Knowledge of air conditioning and air source heat pump systems, or willingness to quickly build technical understanding through training.
- Ability to work on-site in Wembley, collaborate with installation and service teams, and occasionally visit customer locations.
- Relevant education or vocational training in business, sales, or a technical field is beneficial but not essential when supported by strong experience.
