CONTAINEX, is part of the WALTER GROUP and the European market leader for containers, portable cabins, and modular buildings. We support customers across a wide range of sectors including construction, manufacturing, and trade as well as the public sector with flexible modular building solutions – wherever and whenever they are needed.
With production based in several European manufacturing facilities, our Austrian family-owned business, established in 1981, combines long-term thinking with innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and sustained international growth.
We are now looking for a Sales Manager to drive business development across a defined territory in the UK. In this role, you will work with customers ranging from SMEs to large international organisations, identifying new opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and delivering tailored modular building solutions to meet their needs.
Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- Driving new business growth by identifying and acquiring customers and distribution partners across your sales area
- Building strong, long-term relationships while maintaining and developing existing accounts
- Managing your sales territory independently, including planning and carrying out customer visits
- Presenting our product portfolio and creating customised modular building solutions for a wide range of customer requirements
- Leading contract negotiations and guiding customers through the full sales cycle
- Monitoring market trends, identifying opportunities, and contributing to regional sales strategies
- Working closely with internal teams, including Customer Service, Engineering, and Finance to deliver the best customer outcomes
- Continuously developing your product and market knowledge through structured training programmes

Your Profile
- Completed technical or business-related education, with a good level of technical understanding
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
- Independent, self-motivated, and organised, with the ability to manage a territory effectively from a home-based role
- Commercially aware, ambitious, and driven to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Confident using digital tools and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally internationally (approx. 50%+ travel)
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent command of English

The role offers a starting salary from £52,000 per annum (gross), depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a guaranteed bonus, with the opportunity to participate in a performance-related profit-sharing scheme following the onboarding period.
To support your extensive customer visits and business travel across the UK, the company will provide an appropriate mobility solution.
