About the Role
Drive commercial expansion and pipeline conversion for Mars Renewable's C&I battery storage solutions across the UK. You will spearhead business development, manage EPC/installer partnerships, and close equipment and solution sales in one of Europe's most dynamic energy storage markets.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Origination & Deal Closing: Identify, negotiate, and close high-value BESS opportunities across commercial, industrial, and behind-the-meter applications.
- Installer & Partner Ecosystem: Build and nurture strong commercial relationships with UK solar PV installers, EPC contractors, project developers, and energy consultants.
- Solution Co-Creation: Partner closely with internal Solutions and Engineering teams to structure tailored technical proposals, ROI models, and competitive bids.
- Market & Regulatory Feedback: Track UK grid code evolutions, capacity market mechanisms, dynamic containment/arbitrage drivers, and feed insights back to product and strategy teams.
- Industry Representation: Represent Mars Renewable at key UK renewable energy trade shows, developer forums, and client pitch sessions.

Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Proven B2B sales or business development track record within the UK renewables, BESS, Solar PV, or C&I electrical infrastructure sector.
- Channel Network: Strong network with UK solar installers, EPCs, renewable developers, or commercial energy end-users.
- Technical Aptitude: Good commercial understanding of battery storage architectures, inverters, and grid connection basics (prior BESS experience is a strong plus).
- Communication & Drive: Entrepreneurial mindset, self-driven, excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Language & Mobility: Native or fully fluent professional English; valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
