Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of a defined territory across the UK, driving growth with machine builders and manufacturing end users. This hands-on commercial role demands a blend of technical engineering knowledge and solution-based selling to develop new business and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth across the defined territory, targeting both machine builders and manufacturing end users.
- Leverage technical engineering knowledge to provide solution-based selling strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams to ensure clear communication of technical requirements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing engineering environment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of how equipment, components, and systems fit into wider production processes.
- Deliver effective sales presentations and negotiations to close deals.

Required Skills:
- Experience in technical sales within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong engineering or technical understanding, with the ability to interpret drawings or specifications.
- Proven experience selling to machine builders and manufacturing businesses.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory independently.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- Commercially aware, with a focus on delivering results.
