Position Summary
The UK & Ireland Sales Manager for the Sanitaire brand is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer engagement across the municipal and industrial wastewater sectors. The role will develop and execute the commercial strategy for Sanitaire solutions in the UK and Ireland, working closely with consulting engineers, utilities, contractors, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Develop and implement the annual sales strategy for the Sanitaire portfolio within the UK & Ireland region.
- Achieve sales, margin, and funnel development targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment markets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of projects and opportunities through proactive market engagement.
- Lead sales activities for new installations, upgrades, retrofits, and replacement projects.

Customer & Market Engagement
- Establish strong relationships with water utilities, industrial end users, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and distribution partners.
- Use a network of partners to take care of the run rate and regular projects.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for key accounts and strategic customers.
- Promote the value proposition of Sanitaire technologies and solutions through presentations, technical discussions, and customer visits.
- Represent Xylem and Sanitaire at industry events, conferences, and trade associations.
Project & Opportunity Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to order closure.
- Work closely with application engineers and technical specialists to develop optimal customer solutions.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking through CRM tools.
- Drive specification activities with consultants and stakeholders to secure project inclusion.
- Manage the partner network with regular calls and appropriate methodology.
Strategic Market Development
- Participate to analyze market trends, competitive activities, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Help to develop growth plans for key market segments and strategic accounts.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product management and leadership teams.
- Support the launch of new products and solutions within the region.
