Sales Manager UKIE

Location: London, UK

Our Mission

In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 10 years later, our pack has over 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who can turn commercial ambition into actual growth across the UK and Ireland. Someone who knows their way around a retailer meeting, a sales target and a Joint Business Plan (ideally without needing three separate calendars to make it happen).

You’ll be responsible for driving the commercial growth of Edgard & Cooper in the UK & IE markets. That means delivering and executing the sales strategy, leading and developing a high-performing sales team, and building strong, long-term partnerships with key grocery retailers.

You’ll also work closely with the Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution together. Two functions, one plan, fewer plot twists. Hopefully.

What will be in your bowl?

A generous scoop of commercial ownership, team leadership and retailer know-how. You’ll get to:

  • Deliver and execute the UKIE commercial strategy with the Marketing Manager, in line with company ambitions.
  • Set priorities, allocate resources, deliver on sales and distribution targets, and unlock growth across channels and customers.
  • Lead, coach and develop the UK sales team & build a high-performing team with clear objectives and ongoing development.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, lock and execute Joint Business Plans, and build long-term partnerships with key grocery retailers.
  • Support field sales, expand distribution and improve in-store execution.
  • Translate brand strategy into impactful in-store and online activation, including launches, promotions and the core range.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
