To agree with brand sales and marketing leads to key objectives for the brand within the areas/areas of responsibilities (markets). Within this role, these will include target volumes, margin, and market share objectives. The incumbent should consider these as minimum levels of acceptable performance and plan to maximize or over-achieve each objective. In addition to these "base" objectives further brand developments objectives will also be agreed and actions put in place to ensure achievement.

Manage the local brand team to develop the appointed dealer network within the market to ensure that all objectives and KPIs are achieved by agreeing to stretch personal goals with each employee. Continually monitor the performance of both staff and the appointed network and agree with corrective actions/coaching if required. Identify areas of opportunity and develop structured plans to maximize opportunities.

Manage brand development within the appointed dealer network to ensure that dealers see the brand as benefiting their business and contributing profitably to their business. Although there are no direct after-sales staff reporting into this role, the incumbent should have a good understanding of the functionality of both parts and service departments to have a full understanding of the functionality of the dealer's business. Work in conjunction with the Distribution Management team to ensure full territory coverage by new dealer appointments or training programmers to lift the skills of the appointed network.

Your Impact:

  • Sales Funnel Management. Key Account Management & fleet deals, Dealer Performance Management and Drive growth via Valtra Power Program with selected dealers 2026-2028
  • Team Development & empowerment and Customer experience and journey development according to brand value proposition and Implement initiatives, following agreed brand strategy within specific market areas.
  • Develop sales campaigns and plans, agree pricing & discount levels with brand sales, marketing & finance, to ensure volumes and margin levels are achieved. Ensure plans are installed with all dealers and progress towards overall volumes are measured on an ongoing basis, with corrective actions implemented if necessary or actions to maximize achievement more than budgeted levels.
  • Compile dealer business plan volume and market share targets and ensure these are installed with every dealer with progress reports available for follow-up with each dealership on a monthly basis. Work with distribution management team to ensure effective dealer coverage for all areas of responsibility and that dealers have the appropriate level of training provided through AGCO Academy or external training providers.
  • Manage own team performance, through regular one-to-one reviews, ensuring that any training or coaching needs are identified and training implemented. Ensure a high level of training, coaching and support is provided, to both internal and external staff, for any company initiatives that are introduced, e.g. Top Territory, Medic, PTx.
  • In-conjunction with distribution management ensure dealers implement standards as described in the AGCO Dealer Standards manual. Promote a strong brand image. Manage new and used inventory levels. Manage RLP spend. Manage OPEX spend within agreed budget levels.

Your Experience and Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required
  • At least 5 years' experience in a sales role and knowledge of sales, marketing in the agricultural machinery business.
  • Expert knowledge of the various functions within an agricultural machinery dealership.
  • A high level of PC skills, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English language and Expert in team management. Good knowledge and understanding of the brand organizational structure. Expert knowledge of the industry and AGCO.
