  • Performance Bonus
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Statutory sick pay

Job Description

As our Sales Manager, you'll have ownership of the complete used vehicle lifecycle; from finding and acquiring the right stock, through appraisal and preparation, all the way to pricing, marketing, negotiating the deal, and handing the vehicle over to a happy customer.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Developing and delivering the used vehicle business plan and hitting agreed sales and gross profit targets.
  • Sourcing quality used minibuses, midi-coaches, and specialist passenger vehicles.
  • Managing appraisals, valuations, pricing, and preparation costs.
  • Building relationships with operators, fleets, local authorities, dealers, leasing and rental companies, and other industry contacts.
  • Identifying part-exchange opportunities alongside the new vehicle sales team.
  • Generating new business through existing databases, website inquiries, marketing activity, and your own industry network.
  • Keeping a close eye on stock levels, stock age, depreciation, margins, and working capital.
  • Working with Workshop, Parts, Aftersales, and Marketing to ensure vehicles are prepared and presented properly.
  • Looking at what's working, what's not, and continually improving the processes behind the used vehicle operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
