Fully Remote | 50,000 – 80,000 + Commission

We are working with a growing but very well established B2B business that has been operating for 30 years and works with some of the world’s biggest companies. They are looking for a highly driven Sales Executive to join its expanding commercial team. In a division that grew from 0 - 350 staff in 3 years.

This is a hands-on sales leadership position. We're looking for someone who has managed a team of approximately 5–10 salespeople, while still being commercially driven and capable of generating and closing their own opportunities.

This is not a traditional relationship-led sales leadership role. The successful candidate will be a true sales hunter who understands how to create pipeline, drive activity, coach salespeople and close business in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for leading a team of sales professionals while remaining close to the commercial operation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of approximately 5–10 salespeople.
  • Set clear activity, pipeline and revenue expectations.
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve their prospecting, pitching and closing performance.
  • Drive a strong new-business and hunter culture across the team.
  • Personally generate and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead by example through your own prospecting and sales activity.
  • Personally close opportunities where appropriate.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement across the sales process.
  • Support the team with complex negotiations and closing.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Introduce and maintain a consistent, structured sales process.
  • Report on sales performance, pipeline and forecasting.
  • Help develop the team's approach to outbound prospecting and lead generation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're less concerned with the exact title and more interested in what you've actually achieved. You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Team leadership + personal sales performance + new-business generation + fast deal cycles.

We want someone who can sit alongside their team, pick up the phone, create an opportunity from scratch and show their salespeople how to close it.

Relevant Backgrounds

Candidates from B2B events, conferences, sponsorship, market intelligence, research, B2B media, SaaS, recruitment, fintech, payments, or other high-velocity B2B sales environments would be particularly relevant. Experience in the specific sector isn't essential. The key is experience managing a high-performing, new-business-focused team in an environment where sales happen quickly and activity levels are high.
