We are working with a growing but very well established B2B business that has been operating for 30 years and works with some of the world’s biggest companies. They are looking for a highly driven Sales Manager / Director to join its expanding commercial team. In a division that grew from 0 - 350 staff in 3 years

This is a fast-paced, high-activity sales role suited to someone who thrives on generating their own opportunities, speaking to new prospects and closing deals quickly. Experience in short sales cycles is a must

This is a genuine new-business hunter role, where your ability to create opportunities and turn them into customers will directly determine your success.

The Role

You will take ownership of the sales process from initial prospecting through to close, working across a high volume of opportunities with relatively short sales cycles.

  • Proactively identifying and approaching new prospects.
  • Generating your own leads and building a consistent pipeline.
  • Conducting outbound calls, emails, and other prospecting activity.
  • Qualifying opportunities quickly and effectively.
  • Engaging with decision-makers and understanding their commercial needs.
  • Presenting and pitching the company's proposition.
  • Handling objections and negotiating effectively.
  • Managing opportunities through to completion.
  • Personally closing your own deals.
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity records.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a proven sales hunter, rather than someone whose experience is primarily account management or relationship management.

You should have:

  • Proven B2B new-business sales experience.
  • A track record of personally closing deals.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
  • Experience with short sales cycles and quick deal turnaround.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and lead-generation skills.
  • The ability to build your own pipeline rather than relying predominantly on inbound leads.
  • Strong objection handling and negotiation skills.
  • A resilient, target-driven approach.
  • The confidence and ability to engage decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional spoken English.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own activity effectively.
