About Compressed Air Systems UK

Compressed Air Systems UK is an established compressed air specialist based in Kitts Green, Birmingham. We supply, service and support air compressors, compressed air equipment, parts and associated products for customers across the UK.

We are a busy, friendly business where people work together and are expected to be willing to help across different areas when needed. We are now looking for an organised, reliable and proactive Sales & Marketing Administrator to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied office-based position supporting our day-to-day sales, marketing, ecommerce and customer service activities.

No two days are necessarily the same. You may be updating products on our website, responding to a customer enquiry, preparing information for the sales team, working on a spreadsheet, following up an enquiry or helping with a marketing task.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Supporting the sales team with quotations, enquiries and follow-ups
  • Updating and maintaining customer, product and sales information
  • General data entry and database/CRM administration
  • Updating products, descriptions and other content on our ecommerce website
  • Assisting with website improvements and ongoing ecommerce projects
  • Helping prepare social media and marketing content
  • Supporting email marketing and other promotional activity
  • Using spreadsheets to organise, check and maintain information
  • General office administration and document preparation
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service
  • Assisting with incoming orders and general sales administration
  • Working with other members of the team when additional support is required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and able to manage different tasks and priorities
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to take responsibility for their work
  • Accurate, with good attention to detail
  • Friendly and confident when speaking to customers
  • Comfortable using computers, websites and spreadsheets
  • Able to communicate clearly by telephone and email
  • Willing to ask questions when unsure rather than guess
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and complete tasks thoroughly

Previous experience in sales administration, marketing, ecommerce, customer service or a similar office-based role would be useful, but we are also happy to consider someone with the right attitude and transferable skills.

Previous experience in the compressed air industry is not required. Full training will be provided.

Hours & Location

This is an office-based role at our premises in Kitts Green, Birmingham, B33 0LG.

We are happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants, and flexible working hours can be considered for the right candidate.

We understand that the right person may need a working pattern that fits around other commitments, so we are open to discussing suitable hours as part of the application process.
