Sales and Marketing Assistant
York Hospital | Permanent | Full time
Salary depending on skills and experience
37.5 hours per week

This is an exciting time for The York Hospital, and we are looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join us on our journey.
As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you will:
- Assist in the development, communication, and implementation of specific business development plans and activities in line with both local and Central Marketing initiatives.
- Create content and manage social media campaigns for York Hospital.
- Assist in the production of marketing publications and/or campaigns to support business development, linking in closely with the Central Marketing Team.
- Support the Healthcare Account Manager in organizing internal and external events & conferences, and the production of accurate documentation.
- Maintain stock levels of patient literature around the site, ensuring continuity of materials displayed in areas.
- Take ownership of enquiries received into the hospital from various stakeholder groups, including patients, consultants, GP’s, and medical secretaries, and support our customer services team.
- Assist in updating website content within a timely manner to ensure all website data is up to date and correct.
- Assist in building positive relationships around the Hospital, in particular, our Consultants, being visible to them at all times.
- Assist in building a strong rapport with our sponsors, local GP surgeries, and Marketing partners.

- Experience in social media – creating and posting across various platforms.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
