Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is a luxury hotel steeped in history, located just moments from Covent Garden and around the corner from Trafalgar Square in the heart of Westminster.

The hotel features 151 guestrooms and suites and blends historic character with contemporary design. Dining and bar experiences include Ekstedt at The Yard, a Scandinavian inspired restaurant celebrating open fire cooking, creative cocktails at the 40 Elephants Bar, an extensive whisky selection at Sibin, and Afternoon Tea in The Parlour.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Sales & Marketing Coordinator role

As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will play an integral role within the hotel's commercial team, supporting a broad range of sales and marketing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across corporate, leisure and MICE segments while developing your skills within a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with multiple stakeholders, you will contribute to projects that support the hotel's commercial performance, guest engagement and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate client records, account information and sales activity within commercial systems, including Envision.
  • Producing regular sales reports, production statistics and performance tracking to support commercial decision-making.
  • Coordinating client appointments, hotel show rounds, site inspections and familiarisation trips.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of sales trips, networking opportunities, trade events and client activations.
  • Researching market trends, competitor activity and prospective business opportunities across key market segments.
  • Assisting with corporate account administration, including RFP submissions, negotiated rate agreements and account tracking.
  • Arranging VIP guest experiences, bespoke client requests and promotional initiatives designed to enhance engagement.
  • Providing support for Meetings & Events activity, including proposals, contracts, rooming lists and event-related administration.
  • Creating and updating commercial materials such as presentations, factsheets, sales collateral and promotional assets.
  • Supporting the development of digital and marketing content across social media, website platforms and other brand communications.

About You

You are an organised and motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a sales and marketing role or within a hospitality environment is beneficial.

With strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, you enjoy building relationships, analysing information and contributing creative ideas. You are eager to develop your commercial knowledge and are excited by the opportunity to gain broad exposure across all areas of a hotel Sales & Marketing function.
