Intelliscape, formerly the Intelligent Transport Systems Division of SEA, joined Modaxo in 2025.

Modaxo is a global organisation bringing together businesses that collectively focus on advancing new technologies and innovations for people transportation. With more than 40 companies representing over 30 brands, Modaxo comprises over 3,300 people, operating from almost 40 countries around the world.

The team brings decades of experience in traffic enforcement, free-flow charging technology and logistics management, with a strong track record of working collaboratively with public and private sector organisations across the UK and in the USA. Today, Intelliscape continues to evolve its product suite while benefiting from the focus and investment of a global group dedicated to people transportation.

Intelliscape harnesses the latest technologies to deliver intelligent transport systems that enable transport authorities and infrastructure owners to improve safety, reduce air pollution, and enhance transport efficiency. Providing support throughout the entire lifecycle from design to in-service support, Intelliscape is a trusted partner with a track record in helping customers meet their transport objectives.

Intelliscape believes in building trust through reliable systems, responsive support, and technology that adapts to the changing needs of communities.

The Sales & Marketing Director is a senior leadership role. Reporting to the Managing Director, it is responsible for developing and delivering Intelliscape’s sales and marketing strategies, achieving order intake and growth objectives, strengthening market position and ensuring that the company’s value proposition is clearly understood by customers, partners and other stakeholders.

The role leads the Sales & Marketing function across business development, customer account management, strategic partnerships, proposals, marketing, events, market intelligence and sales operations. It is accountable for building and converting a high-quality pipeline, improving forecast accuracy, supporting profitable growth, and ensuring that sales and marketing activity is closely aligned with product strategy, delivery capability and customer needs.

Job Description

Role Purpose

A key aspect of the role is to translate Intelliscape’s technical capability into compelling commercial propositions. This includes positioning Roadflow products and services effectively, shaping bids and direct award opportunities, developing repeatable routes to market, and ensuring that customer insight, competitor intelligence and market trends inform both commercial strategy and product development.

The role is also an important leadership position within Intelliscape. The postholder will contribute to company strategy, support cross-functional decision-making, lead and coach the Sales & Marketing team, and act as a visible ambassador for Intelliscape with customers, partners, industry bodies and the wider Modaxo group.

Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and deliver Intelliscape's Sales & Marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, business plan and growth ambitions.
  • Take overall accountability for Sales & Marketing order intake, pipeline development, forecast accuracy and profitable revenue growth.
  • Build, maintain and convert a qualified pipeline of new business, existing customer growth, framework opportunities, direct awards, strategic partnerships and competitive tenders.
  • Establish a disciplined sales operating rhythm, including opportunity qualification, pipeline reviews, forecasting, risk management and performance reporting.
  • Apply consultative, value-based selling principles to understand customer needs and align Intelliscape solutions with customer outcomes, strategic priorities and return on investment expectations.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, customer requirements and growth opportunities, ensuring that commercial strategy evolves to reflect changing market conditions.
  • Lead the commercial strategy for major opportunities, including bid positioning, win themes, pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and executive engagement.
  • Work closely with Finance, Delivery and Product teams to ensure that sales forecasts, business opportunities and growth plans are realistic, achievable and aligned to operational capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
