Our client, an industrial Equipment supplier based in Sudbury is looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Executive to join their team and help grow their existing customer base, identify new markets and strengthen the brand across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
This is a varied role combining business development, customer relationship management, technical product sales and marketing. You'll play a key role in increasing revenue, reactivating dormant accounts, developing new business opportunities and supporting marketing initiatives across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Manage an existing customer portfolio, increasing turnover and gross profit growth.
- Reactivate non-trading and dormant customers.
- Identify new markets and develop a consistent pipeline of new customer accounts.
- Manage incoming enquiries via the website, telephone and social media.
- Maintain accurate daily CRM records, including activities, quotations and opportunities using Salesforce.
- Attend customer site visits across the UK and Ireland.
- Attend trade exhibitions across the UK, Ireland and Europe to develop relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Support product creation and development through their internal R&D system (JIRA).

Marketing & Brand Development
- Work with existing customers and their marketing teams to develop strategies that increase our product sales and promote the brand.
- Organise and oversee the company's annual exhibition at the NEC in June, including advertising and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with external marketing organisations to increase the company's brand exposure through digital and print marketing.
- Create and publish twice-weekly social media content on LinkedIn and Instagram, covering new products, company news and updates.
- Coordinate marketing activities with the company's Group's wider marketing team.
- Research and develop relationships with new trade groups and industry associations.
- Use the CRM database to plan and launch targeted marketing campaigns.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in business development and new market identification.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK and Ireland for customer visits and exhibitions, as well as to global sites for audits and training.
- Experience using CRM systems for sales and marketing activities (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience in product sales.
- Experience with Canva or a willingness and ability to learn digital marketing content creation.
Desirable Experience
- Background in HVAC, food service equipment or heating equipment.
- Technical sales experience.
- Experience working with industrial or engineered products.
