About deZignlite
deZignlite is a specialist LED lighting company providing bespoke LED solutions for retail, point-of-sale, commercial and display applications. We offer a complete service including lighting design, testing, manufacture and installation, delivering innovative solutions for leading brands and retailers across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to help develop new business opportunities and increase brand awareness across our target markets.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role combining business development, account management and marketing. You will be responsible for generating new enquiries, building relationships with customers, promoting our products and services, and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn and targeted outreach.
- Arrange and attend client meetings both virtually and face-to-face.
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations.
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.

Marketing
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
- Manage company LinkedIn activity and content creation.
- Develop case studies, project updates and customer success stories.
- Assist with website content updates and SEO initiatives.
- Coordinate photography, video content and promotional materials.
- Monitor and report on marketing activity and lead generation performance.
Brand Representation
- Represent deZignlite professionally at customer meetings, networking events and exhibitions.
- Promote the company's capabilities and services within target industries.
- Build awareness of the deZignlite brand and its market-leading LED solutions.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in sales, marketing or business development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident presenting to customers and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to winning new business.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable
- Experience within LED lighting, retail, POS, manufacturing or shopfitting sectors.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
- Experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of SEO and website content management.
