An international company in the industrial chemicals sector is currently recruiting a Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business development and sales growth across European markets for its lubricants business.
About the Role
The role will focus on sales and marketing strategy, new market development, distributor management, market analysis, and strategic partnerships across Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies across European markets and identify opportunities to enter new markets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, distributors, and strategic partnerships
- Manage and support existing distributors, importers, and key accounts
- Drive annual sales targets, profitability, and market share growth
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and pricing reviews, and prepare business plans, forecasts, and budget proposals
- Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, customer presentations, and training
- Lead internal business improvement projects and collaborate with technical, supply chain, and headquarters teams
- Negotiate commercial agreements and distribution contracts and represent the company at trade shows and industry events across Europe

Ideal Candidate
- 1–5 years' experience in lubricants, automotive aftermarket, oil & gas, or a related industry
- Proven sales management and business development experience across multiple European markets
- Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket channels and distribution networks
- Experience managing distributors, importers, and key accounts
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation, analytical, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to travel extensively within Europe
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous
- Experience with international lubricant brands or passenger car, commercial vehicle, industrial, and specialty lubricant markets is advantageous

Conditions
- Location: City of London
- Working Style: hybrid
- Salary: £35,000–£40,000 (flexible) per annum depending on experience
- Job Type: permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
- Start: negotiable
- Benefits: full commuting costs, medical insurance, annual health check, life insurance / income protection
