Sales & Marketing Operations Specialist
London / Hybrid – Elephant & Castle
£40–50k, depending on experience
Installio is building the platform powering the next generation of clean energy installations across the UK. Working with leading energy and electrification brands including Octopus Energy, E.ON Next, Good Energy, Aira, So Energy, Ample, Heatable, NIBE and The Electric Car Scheme, we combine proprietary technology with a national delivery network to deliver heat pumps, solar and home electrification at scale.
As our homeowner business grows, we’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Operations Specialist to connect our tools, automate customer journeys and improve how enquiries become installations.
The Role
You’ll work closely with our Head of Sales & Marketing to improve the systems and processes supporting our homeowner sales operation.
Your work will span HubSpot, Webflow, messaging platforms and proposal tools. You’ll identify where customers get stuck, where the team spends time on manual tasks, and how better processes and integrations can help.
You’ll take projects from identifying the problem through to implementation, testing and measuring the result, with specialist support available for more complex development.
What You’ll Do
- Optimise the sales journey: Improve lead allocation, proposal follow-up and handovers between sales and operations.
- Build in HubSpot: Develop workflows, pipelines, dashboards and reporting that help the team work efficiently.
- Work in Webflow: Build and update landing pages, forms and booking journeys, ensuring they connect correctly with our CRM and tracking.
- Improve consultation booking: Set up meeting links, consultant allocation, reminders and booking journeys using HubSpot or other scheduling tools where appropriate.
- Connect customer communications: Integrate WhatsApp and SMS into our follow-up journeys and explore automated response agents that help answer questions and book appointments.
- Connect our proposal tools: Improve how HubSpot works with Spruce and OpenSolar, reducing manual entry and keeping proposal information up to date.
- Manage integrations: Maintain Zapier automations, email parsing and partner lead feeds, monitoring issues and improving reliability.
- Improve reporting: Build accurate, repeatable partner reports and use conversion data to identify opportunities.
- Support new capabilities: Help develop quoting, proposal, invoicing and payment processes, including connections with Xero.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
