Role Description
The Sales Negotiator role at Kivells is a full-time, on-site position based in Launceston. In this role, the Sales Negotiator will manage enquiries from buyers and sellers, arrange and conduct property viewings, and follow up to progress interest and offers. The position involves negotiating sales terms, liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records within company systems. The Sales Negotiator will support estate agency and lettings activities, contribute to marketing properties, and help achieve branch sales targets. The role requires proactive customer contact, effective communication, and a professional presence in the office and during appointments.

Qualifications

- Experience or strong interest in estate agency, including residential, commercial, or rural property, and an understanding of the local property market.
- Proven communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent customer service capabilities, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and maintaining positive client relationships throughout the sales process.
- Sales skills, including negotiation, objection handling, and closing deals, with a results-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Understanding of lettings processes or willingness to learn, including tenancy procedures, referencing, and basic property management principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple properties, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Comfort with using property software, CRM systems, email, and standard office applications; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Valid driving license and access to transport for property viewings and client meetings in and around Launceston and the wider area.
- Prior experience in property, sales, or a client-facing role is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
