Negotiator/Sales Lister Opportunity at GeorgeJames Properties
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Negotiator/Sales Lister to join our successful independent estate agency, GeorgeJames Properties, which has a strong local reputation and is a busy branch in the heart of Somerton.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of property sales and listings, actively engaging with clients to negotiate deals and accurately list properties for sale. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will drive successful transactions, helping clients achieve their property goals while contributing to the growth of our agency. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales expertise within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Salary:
- Basic: £22,000
- Unlimited commission with OTE of £35,000+
Duties
- Book and conduct property valuations and viewings
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their property needs and provide tailored solutions
- Negotiate offers between buyers and vendors
- List new properties accurately, ensuring all details are comprehensive and appealing to potential buyers
- Conduct property viewings, showcasing features confidently and answering client questions with clarity
- Maintain organized records of all listings, negotiations, and client interactions for seamless follow-up
- Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies that maximize property exposure
- Follow up with clients post-viewing or negotiation to foster relationships and encourage successful closures

Skills
- Must have previous estate agency listing and valuing experience
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills to manage multiple listings and negotiations efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport quickly and articulating property features compellingly
- Strong IT and organizational skills to keep track of numerous listings, appointments, and client details in a fast-paced setting
- Motivated self-starter with a proactive attitude towards negotiation and sales development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent initiative
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
- Good knowledge of the local area is important
