Job Specification: Sales Office Manager
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic motivated individual to fulfil the role of Sales Office Manager.
General Job Description
Following the move to our new premise in Bromsgrove, SEW are now looking to re-build our sales support function in the Midlands. To start that process we are first looking to make the key appointment of our new Sales Office Manager. Reporting to the Midlands Regional Manager, the role will take responsibility for internal sales functions and internal sales staff (to be recruited) and will be a key member of a small but busy Sales Office.
Role
The role is very much hands on and so will involve acting as key point of contact for customer enquires both via telephone and email. Preparation of quotes and orders along with technical enquiries for our mechanical geared motor product range will be key functions, as well as overseeing junior staff and taking responsibility for office supplies, stationary, petty cash etc.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
