The Opportunity
As a small but scaling business, this role has a multi-functioned approach to help ensure the effective running of our sales team (and our office!) from an administrative perspective.
This role reports into our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), supporting a team of three Account Executives (AEs) and two Trading Solutions (TS) Managers, ensuring smooth sales operations, enhancing customer engagement, and driving commercial efficiency.
As a smaller percentage of its time, this role will also pick up some general administrative functionality across the business, with a dotted line into our Exec Team. This will mean getting your sleeves rolled up, helping out with everything from the production of investor reports, through to managing office suppliers and day-to-day workplace operations.
We operate a hybrid approach to working here at Sphere, and we will expect this role to be in the office for at least four days each week as this role will be the foundation for our Sales Team to be as effective as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Team Support – Assist AEs with significant client pitches, post-sales follow-up, and managing trial logistics to ensure smooth onboarding and engagement.
- Customer Engagement – Collaborate with Trading Solutions (TS) to improve customer interactions and support ongoing engagement strategies.
- Marketing Coordination – Work closely with marketing to support campaigns, manage the CRM (Salesforce), and ensure the sales team has the necessary collateral.
- Event Preparation – Assist in planning and executing industry events, ensuring materials and schedules are in place.
- Administrative Support – Handle scheduling, data entry, and reporting on sales performance metrics.
- Performance Monitoring – Track key sales and customer success indicators, ensuring data accuracy and reporting insights to the team.
- Performance Management – Create reports and dashboards to track sales team activity, attainment to target, and performance continuity.
- General Admin – Assist the business & Exec with general admin, from production of reports, to minute taking, or other duties as may be required.
- Office Management – We only have a small office, but become the primary contact with building management, ensuring the smooth running of the office, including ordering stock, liaising with maintenance, etc.
- Confidential Information – Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
