Sales Coordinator – for Dinosaur Events & Shows
Location: South East London Orpington
Contract: Freelance | 3–5 days per week – up to 40 hours maximum.
Duration: 10-month contract with the hope of renewal.
Salary: £26k - £30k pro rata based on a 40-hour week depending on skills and experience and number of days to be worked.
About RentaDinosaur
We create life-sized dinosaur events for 11 years (with realistic giant dinosaur puppets) that make people stop in their tracks! We’re known for our slapstick and educational Dino Shows and quality dinosaur entertainment. Our clients are venues such as castles, festivals, zoos, museums and shopping centres.
Out of season we also do school visits and theatre tours, as well as occasional overseas events. No two days are ever the same, and we love the variety!
We have a very busy home office based in Orpington, where you would need to be based a lot of the time. Working patterns to be discussed at interview stage, hybrid working may be available.
We also have an office cat, so a lover of cats and dinosaurs would be preferred!
Do you love sales, people and the thrill of closing a deal?
We're looking for someone passionate about sales, who genuinely loves talking to people on the phone, building relationships and getting a buzz from turning an enquiry into a booking.
If you're the sort of person who loves to chat, isn't afraid to pick up the phone and has patience and self-motivation (as some clients take months to make a decision!) and has a talent for turning conversations into new bookings, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience and a great track record in B2B sales would be preferred.
The Role
You'll be talking to brand new enquirers, existing and repeat clients, CRM database contacts, while also searching for exciting new potential clients and venues.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll need to live within commuting distance of Dino HQ - our home office in Orpington where you’ll work closely with our Creative Director and our social media/marketing officer.
Our busiest sales season runs from the end of September through to Easter, so that's when you'll really be in your element.
During the quieter summer months, you'll still be busy keeping in touch with clients, hunting for new opportunities and occasionally rolling your sleeves up at Dino HQ. That might mean helping load vans, heading out to visit potential venues and carry out a few "dino reckies". If you’re friendly and flexible, and can be productive in a busy environment, you'll fit right in.
