SALES OPERATIONS ANALYST
Location: ADI Global Distribution EMEA International Headquarters - Unit 6, Broadgate, Oldham Broadway Business Park, Chadderton, OL9 9AX Greater Manchester.
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Base Salary + Quarterly Sales Incentive 48.3%

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're currently looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Inside Sales team in a hybrid role, working three days in the office and two days from home.
This is more than an administration role.
As a Sales Operations Analyst, you'll play an important part in supporting our sales teams and helping deliver an outstanding experience for our customers. You'll work across the entire customer journey, from quote and order processing through to issue resolution and delivery coordination.
You'll collaborate with colleagues across sales, customer service, operations, finance, and other business functions, ensuring information flows smoothly and customers receive a professional, efficient service every time.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, communicates confidently, and is motivated by helping both colleagues and customers achieve great outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes and customer experiences.
JOB DUTIES
As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will:
- Process customer orders accurately and within agreed service levels
- Support the sales team by providing efficient administrative and operational assistance
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Support e-commerce and online order-related enquiries
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries and ensure successful order completion
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information
- Support sales colleagues in delivering excellent customer service and identifying growth opportunities
- Direct customers to the appropriate teams for technical, financial, or account support
- Manage customer transactions in line with customer requirements and company processes
- Identify opportunities to introduce complementary products and complete solution-based sales
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, invoice queries, and service concerns
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Deliver a consistently positive customer experience across all interactions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business projects
- Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail across all sales administration activities

YOU MUST HAVE

Essential Requirements
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused thinking
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Active listening skills and a willingness to learn
- Confidence using computer systems and digital tools
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in sales support, customer service, sales administration, or sales operations
- SAP or other ERP system experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience managing customer orders from enquiry through to completion
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of sales processes, quotations, and order management
- Experience within distribution, wholesale, logistics, or commercial business environments
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
