About Wahed:
The global financial system wasn't built for everyone. For millions of people, its reliance on interest (riba) creates a barrier to managing money and building wealth without compromising their values.
At Wahed, we're changing that. We are a global fintech company on a mission to build a new financial system—one that is ethical, accessible, and entirely interest-free. From our offices across the globe, our team is building products that were once deemed impossible, from pioneering Shariah-compliant equity ETFs, creating true riba-free alternatives to high yield savings accounts, to creating no-leverage real estate investments for truly interest-free income producing assets. If you're driven to solve complex problems and believe finance should empower, not exclude, join us in building a more equitable financial future.

Job Brief:
This is a graduate role with two sides to it. On the sales side, you'll be on the front line of Wahed's growth - every day new clients sign up and pass verification, and you'll be the first human voice they hear. On the operations side, you'll own the processes that keep our Baker Street office running - getting new joiners set up on day one, keeping the workspace safe and secure, and managing the suppliers and systems behind it.

It's a rare first job: you'll build a commercial track record and a genuine understanding of how a business actually operates, at the same time. You'll learn our full product range inside out, own your own pipeline from day one, and work directly with our HR, Finance and IT teams. For the right person it opens a clear path into a Relationship Manager role, or deeper into operations.

Job Description:

Sales

  • Convert newly KYC-passed leads: Proactively call clients shortly after they pass KYC, introduce the platform, answer questions, address concerns, and guide them to make their first deposit - ideally on the call itself.
  • Pipeline management in Zendesk: Manage a structured calling pipeline - log every call, tag outcomes accurately, set follow-ups, and keep records clean and current.
  • Product expertise: Build deep knowledge of Wahed's full product range - GIA, ISA, SIPP, Workplace Pensions, Business Accounts, and alternative investments including real estate - and clearly explain the features of each so clients can make their own informed decisions. This is a non-advisory role: we provide information, not personal recommendations or financial advice.
  • Feedback and insights: Share learnings with the team on common questions, drop-off reasons, and what's working in the pitch to help improve conversion across the funnel.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Operations

  • New joiners and leavers: Own the joiner and leaver process alongside HR - coordinating equipment, access and set-up so new starters are ready on day one, and making sure everything is returned cleanly when people move on.
  • Day-to-day office operations: Keep the office running day to day - a well stocked, safe and secure workspace, routine checks and testing, and an early point of contact for IT issues.
  • Suppliers and systems: Manage the suppliers and systems the office runs on, from security and access platforms through to utilities, post and expenses, working with Finance and IT where needed.

Job Specifications:

What We're Looking For:

  • A natural relationship builder: You run genuine discovery conversations - asking good questions, listening properly, and understanding what each client actually wants - rather than reading from a script. Clients should come off the phone trusting you.
  • Fearless on the phone: Cold calling doesn't faze you. You pick up the phone with energy, handle rejection without losing momentum, and treat every "no" as information.
  • Reliable and organised: Colleagues depend on you for the operational side of the office, so you work from checklists and systems and don't let things slip when the sales day gets busy.
  • Hands-on and practical: You'd rather fix the thing than raise a ticket about it, and you're comfortable dealing with suppliers and contractors directly.
  • Data-driven about your own performance: You review your own numbers - connection rates, conversion, call outcomes - spot what's working and what isn't, and change your approach accordingly.
  • A self-starter who stays sharp: You take ownership of your own learning, getting up to speed on our products and keeping current on markets, ISAs, pensions and the halal investing space, without needing to be pushed.
  • Discreet and trustworthy: You'll handle client conversations, office access and expense records, and we need to be able to trust you with all of it.
