WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Sales Operations Associate, you will play a key role in organising and coordinating cutting-edge network and audio-visual services and systems projects.

You will be involved throughout the lifecycle of internal projects, working closely with specialist project teams to deliver high-quality services to a customer base that includes leading global blue-chip organisations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and distributors to obtain pricing for audio-visual, video conferencing, and networking components.
  • Register and manage bids with relevant OEMs and distributors in accordance with company procedures.
  • Create detailed, accurate, and competitive quotations using Sage X3.
  • Engage with clients to present and discuss quotations, responding to queries and understanding their requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with OEMs and distributors to ensure pricing information is accurate and up to date.
  • Identify pricing changes and updates, ensuring quotations are amended accordingly.
  • Monitor market pricing trends and competitive positioning to support commercially competitive proposals.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of pricing data, client interactions, and bid registrations.
  • Process final project invoicing in close collaboration with the Account Management team.
  • Attend client meetings, representing the Sales Operations function professionally.
  • Work closely with Finance to resolve invoicing queries and support customer follow-up where required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales support, inside sales, sales operations, or similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience creating detailed and commercially competitive quotations.
  • A clear understanding of the commercial considerations involved in purchasing and reselling hardware and services.
  • A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage projects through to completion and a commitment to delivering positive outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Experience using account management, procurement, or similar business software.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and workloads effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • A proactive and resourceful problem solver who can think on their feet.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a fast-moving, growing global organisation.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Experience working within audio-visual, video conferencing, or networking environments.
  • Experience with Cisco CCW, Sage X3, and Jira.
  • The ability to drive progress positively and effectively while keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • The ability to maintain a consistently high standard of work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and issues.
