About Leon Cycle

Leon Cycle was founded in Germany in 2014 and has since expanded across Europe, North America and Australia.

We design, manufacture and sell electric bicycles through dealer networks, key accounts and e-commerce channels. Our flagship brand, NCM, offers a wide range of e-bikes across trekking, city, mountain and folding categories.

We are now looking for a Sales & Operations Director – UK to lead the next stage of growth of our UK business.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for the sales, operations and P&L performance of Leon Cycle UK.

This is not a pure sales role. You will lead both commercial growth and local operations, ensuring strong execution across sales, inventory, logistics, customer service and after-sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the UK sales and growth strategy;
  • Recruit, lead and coach 2–3 Business Development Managers;
  • Expand our dealer network and develop Key Accounts;
  • Own UK revenue, gross margin and P&L performance;
  • Manage the sales pipeline, pricing and commercial performance;
  • Directly manage the UK Operations Manager;
  • Oversee inventory, 3PL, warehouse, logistics and delivery performance;
  • Oversee customer service, returns, warranty and technical support;
  • Oversee the Leon Cycle Ride & Service Hub – London;
  • Work closely with shared Finance, HR, Marketing and E-commerce teams;
  • Identify and resolve operational and commercial issues quickly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
