I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will sit within Revenue Operations and provide the support function for the sales team: processing what has been sold, supporting CRM data integrity, preparing the documents reps need to close, and handling the day-to-day queries that would otherwise pull a salesperson away from a customer conversation. This is a genuine career entry point into Revenue Operations, with the opportunity to develop within the team.
Role Responsibilities
- Process new orders, upgrades, renewals and cancellations accurately and within agreed turnaround times
- Set up new accounts, licences and subscriptions, and make sure what the customer receives matches what they bought
- Raise and issue quotes and order forms on behalf of the sales team
- Liaise with Finance on billing queries, invoice corrections, credit notes and payment chasing where it touches a live sales conversation
- Load and cleanse imported data, including lists for campaigns and prospecting
- Keep company and contact records clean
- Flag process gaps and recurring data errors to the RevOps Lead so data and process optimisation reviews can be planned
- Run and distribute recurring sales reports (pipeline, activity, bookings, renewals) to support weekly pipeline reviews, month end and board reporting
- Support commission and incentive administration: collate the data, prepare calculations for review, and resolve queries with the relevant manager
