Sales Operations Manager
A leading technology company are looking to add a Sales Operations Manager to the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will support the wider Sales function across sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM, performance reporting and process optimisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with sales leadership, Regional MDs, Finance, Marketing, Customer Support and Product teams, while supporting the business in improving sales effectiveness, increasing productivity and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of annual sales plans and growth strategies.
- Assist with territory planning, account segmentation and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Track performance against revenue, pipeline, conversion and activity targets.
- Analyse sales trends and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead the sales forecasting process and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Monitor pipeline health and identify risks and opportunities.
- Implement best practices for opportunity management and revenue forecasting.
- Support Regional MDs with pipeline reviews and business planning.
- Act as the primary owner of the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, governance and compliance.
- Drive CRM adoption and user engagement across the sales team.
- Design, document and continuously improve sales processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation where appropriate.
- Standardise sales tools, reporting and operational procedures.
- Lead change management initiatives relating to Sales Operations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Customer Support and Product teams to support sales effectiveness.
- Support the onboarding and training of new sales team members.
- Ensure sales teams have access to relevant tools, collateral and resources.
- Support the CFO and Regional MDs with incentive compensation administration and sales performance programmes.
- Support order tracking, backlog management and revenue conversion.
- Analyse customer, market and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support decision-making through data-led insights.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and conduct regular forecast reviews with the sales team.
- Maintain strong pipeline visibility and management.
- Drive sales process efficiency, optimisation and productivity improvements.
- Support the achievement of revenue and growth objectives

The ideal candidate must have:
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations or Sales Analysis roles.
- A strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management and forecasting.
- Experience managing CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or HubSpot.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong Excel and data modelling capability.
- Experience creating dashboards and performance reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of sales compensation and incentive programmes would be advantageous.
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
- A qualification in Business, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Sales Operations or CRM certifications would be advantageous.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
- A data-driven approach to decision making and problem solving.
- A continuous improvement mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to influence and manage stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative approach with strong change management and results-orientated skills.
