Sepura is a global leader in critical communications solutions. We design, develop and manufacture robust TETRA and broadband communication products used by customers who rely on dependable technology in demanding operational environments.
We are looking to recruit a commercially minded, highly analytical Sales Operations Manager, who will combine strong operational discipline with strategic insight to enable a high-performing sales organisation and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Role
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability across the sales organisation. Partnering with key senior stakeholders from across the business, the role acts as an independent business partner to the sales organisation. The role provides strategic and operational support to sales leadership through data analysis, forecasting, process optimisation, CRM management, performance reporting, sales planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will ensure the sales team has the data, tools, processes, insights, and governance required to achieve revenue targets and deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Support the development and execution of annual sales plans and growth strategies.
- Assist with territory planning, account segmentation, and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
Sales Performance Management
- Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Track performance against revenue, pipeline, conversion, and activity targets.
- Analyse sales trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Produce regular sales performance reports for senior leadership.

Forecasting & Pipeline Management
- Lead the sales forecasting process and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Monitor pipeline health and identify risks and opportunities.
- Implement best practices for opportunity management and revenue forecasting.
- Support Regional MDs in pipeline reviews and business planning.
CRM & Systems Management
- Act as the primary owner of the CRM system with accountability for CRM hygiene and data accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Drive CRM adoption and user engagement across the sales team.
Process Improvement
- Design, document, and continuously improve sales processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation where appropriate.
- Standardise sales tools, reporting, and operational procedures.
- Lead change management initiatives related to sales operations.
Sales Enablement Support
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Customer Support, and Product teams.
- Support onboarding and training of new sales team members.
- Ensure sales teams have access to relevant tools, collateral, and resources.
- Support the CFO and Regional MDs with incentive compensation administration and sales performance programmes.
- Support order tracking, backlog and revenue conversion.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Analyse customer, market, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support decision-making through data-led insights.

Key Accountabilities
- Own the sales forecasting process and challenge forecast assumptions to improve accuracy of CRM data quality and adoption.
- Timely and accurate sales reporting.
- Conduct regular forecast reviews with sales team.
- Pipeline visibility and management.
- Sales process efficiency and optimisation.
- Delivery of sales productivity improvements.
- Support achievement of revenue and growth objectives.
What you need to succeed:
Essential
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Operations, or Sales Analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Experience managing CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or HubSpot.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong Excel and data modelling capability.
- Experience creating dashboards and performance reports.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of sales compensation and incentive programmes.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Qualification in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Sales Operations or CRM certifications.
