Role Overview
The Sales Operations Manager owns the day-to-day operating rhythm of Lunio’s commercial teams: the reporting, process, systems hygiene and deal governance that keep Sales, Marketing and Customer Success running consistently across the US and ROW regions.
You will translate the framework into a live process, clean data and reporting the business trusts, and you will be the first point of contact for the commercial teams when something in that system needs fixing.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role with broad ownership and a wide internal audience. It suits someone who would rather build a process properly than fix the same problem twice, and who is comfortable holding reps and managers to an operational standard.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline, Forecasting & Reporting
- Own and maintain the GTM dashboards, pipeline pacing reporting and forecast reporting used by all commercial regions.
- Run the weekly and monthly forecast cadence, chasing inputs and flagging risk ahead of reviews.
- Track funnel and pipeline health metrics, and surface movement, slippage and coverage gaps early.
- Investigate variance between forecast and actuals, and explain what drove it.
Deal Desk & Commercial Governance
- Run the deal desk: pricing approvals, discount thresholds, quote and contract workflow.
- Review non-standard terms and structures before they reach signature, escalating where needed.
- Maintain the approval matrix and ensure it is followed consistently across both regions.
- Keep closed-won handover to Customer Success clean and on time.
CRM & Systems Administration
- Own Salesforce data quality, field governance and day-to-day configuration requests.
- Manage the HubSpot to Salesforce handoff, lead routing and duplicate management.
- Support the wider commercial stack, including Gong and enrichment tooling.
- Write clear requirements for larger platform changes and test them before release.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Sales Process & Enablement Support
- Document and embed sales process, qualification standards and pipeline management expectations.
- Onboard new commercial hires onto systems, process and reporting.
- Maintain playbooks, templates and process documentation as the business changes.
- Act as first-line support for reps and managers on systems and process questions.
Planning, Territories & Commissions
- Support annual and half-year planning, including territory design and account prioritisation.
- Administer commission plans: calculation, validation, query resolution and payroll handoff.
- Maintain quota, target and headcount data in the reporting layer.
Data & Decision Support
- Produce reporting and analysis for QBRs, executive reviews and board updates.
- Answer ad hoc commercial questions with analysis rather than opinion.
- Keep definitions and metrics consistent with the wider revenue reporting framework.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Solid experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or Commercial Operations in B2B SaaS: you have run this day to day, not just contributed to it.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce skills: reports, dashboards, flows, data management and change requests and an understanding of how configuration decisions affect reporting integrity.
- A track record of improving forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene in a team that was not doing it well before you arrived.
- Comfortable being the only person in the seat: you can prioritise your own week against the commercial calendar without close direction.
- Credible with both VP level commercial leaders and reps on the ground, and willing to hold the line on process when appropriate.

Why You’ll Thrive
You have supported sales teams across more than one region or time zone, and you know how to keep a single process working for two teams that do things slightly differently.
You are comfortable in a scale-up. The playbook is half written, priorities move, and some of what you inherit will need rebuilding rather than tidying.
You know your way around the wider stack beyond CRM: HubSpot, Gong, Redshift, Clay, enrichment tooling, and you are happy learning the parts you have not used.
You are interested in where AI and automation can take repetitive operational work off the team, and realistic about where they cannot.
You like being the person people come to. A good share of this role is unblocking someone else quickly and well, then making sure the same thing does not block them again.
