Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join the commercial team. Responsible for the development and improvement of processes, systems, and reporting in commercial sales in order to facilitate profitable revenue growth and meet the needs of a growing business. Working with the VP Sales and directors to understand their challenges and provide systematic solutions, driving operational efficiency through detailed and accurate reporting, analysis, and metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely reporting to the management team:
- Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable business information to all management on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Track, analyse, and report sales data: by retailer, region, and store. Provide sales out analysis programs and improve response times to achieving sales targets.
- Be the single point of contact for reporting weekly/monthly on revenue plan to actual sales.
- Lead a team to identify trends and communicate effectively with a remote team to drive sales.
- Analyse distribution gaps and identify opportunities for growth by region and channel.
- Provide detailed distribution maps and retailer landscapes to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with sales leadership to prioritise and execute distribution initiatives.

Maintain communication strategies for commercial sales:
- Ensure systems (NuOrder) are maintained with correct data on a daily, weekly basis.
- Assist in the creation of ongoing outbound communication vehicles including feedback surveys and recognition programs.
- Assist in conducting sales meetings providing commercial insights and global data.

Drive improvements to reporting and processes:
- Work with the Sales team to identify duplications and inefficiencies in current reporting methods, systems, and programmes, implementing improved solutions e.g. pricing models and promotional governance.
- Lead the compliance of data information stored within sales, ensuring that information is stored, supplied, and retained in line with best practice and legislation e.g. product spec/PLM.
- Be the SAP expert for commercial sales and provide training for all the commercial team.

Develop merchandising support for Retail and Digital execution:
- Accountable for driving compliance levels in store within the agreed coverage direct markets.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure fixture compliance and brand consistency.
- Develop tools and dashboards to monitor fixture performance and ROI.

Promotional Planning & Governance:
- Support the creation and execution of promotional calendars across markets.
- Implement governance frameworks for pricing and promotional activity.
- Track promotional performance and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.

- Fulfil other duties as required:
- Ensures all hardware is updated, maintained, and identifies issues and provides solutions.

What We Need From You
- Experience in working with retailers.
- Experience in analysing data and identifying trends.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills within a team.
- First-class MS Excel, analysis, and interpretation of data ability.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Presentation skills – able to present confidently in front of a varied audience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Experience working with SAP systems is a plus.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
