About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a natural people leader, someone who thrives on building strong teams, setting high standards and helping to build an environment that people are genuinely excited to be part of.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the day to day operation of our office and showrooms flow seamlessly as both a place of work and a destination for clients. You will play an important part in supporting and motivating the team, as well as shaping how our showrooms feel to every client that walks through the door.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and Finance Director, you will translate strategic direction into operational reality. Your role will ensure targets set by the Commercial Director and Finance Director relating to strategy, market positioning and commercial are understood, owned and pursued by the team.

The Whistler Collective businesses all operate within the interiors and hospitality industries, bespoke furniture and joinery, luxury rugs, interior staging and a working familiarity with this world is desirable. However, deep expertise in each individual niche is not a requirement of this role. What matters above all is the ability to lead, energize and develop a sales team, and to build the culture and operational discipline from which great results follow.

We will consider part time or fulltime applications for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, coach and develop the Lots Road sales and support team across all Whistler Collective businesses, with support and direction from the Exec.
  • Set clear individual and team targets; monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, identify development needs and put in place training, mentoring or support plans.
  • Manage day-to-day scheduling, cover and resource allocation across the office and showrooms.
  • Work in partnership with the People Operations Manager on HR related matters.

People Management

  • Demonstrable experience managing and developing a sales team in a fast paced, commercial environment.
  • Confident setting targets, running performance reviews and having difficult conversations constructively.
  • Ability to motivate a diverse team and foster a culture of ownership, accountability and mutual support.
  • Experience identifying skills gaps and delivering or commissioning relevant training.
  • Calm, fair and decisive under pressure.

Sales Standards & Client Experience

  • Own and uphold the client experience standard across all touchpoints — new enquiries, walk-ins and established clients.
  • Ensure the team follows agreed processes for enquiry handling, quoting, follow-up and closing.
  • Monitor pipeline health and conversion rates; identify where process or approach needs to change.
  • Model exemplary client-facing behaviour.
  • Work with the Commercial Director and Finance Director to implement sales strategy and introduce best-practice approaches; act as the primary conduit between the directors and the sales floor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
