At Rubix UK, we're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Hub Sales & Operations Manager to lead the delivery of order procurement, inventory and customer service excellence across multiple contracts.
This is an important leadership role where you'll be responsible for managing 2 separate small teams who are processing high numbers of quotes and enquires. Your key drive will be to optimise supply chain performance, effectively manage team workloads, develop profitability and build strong internal and external partnerships.
About The Role
As Hub Sales & Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of order flows across multiple contracts, ensuring customers enquires and orders are dealt with efficiently.
You'll be responsible for balancing operational delivery, procurement strategy, inventory management, commercial performance and people leadership to create a first class customer and team experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a high-performing transactional procurement team.
- Manage workloads and ensuring both staff and customer needs are balanced.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain activities to ensure the best balance of quality, service, availability and cost.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and OEM’s.
- Ensure contractual commitments are consistently achieved.
- Manage the integrity of our stock management systems.
- Monitor and improve sales, margin, profitability.
- Be involved in customer performance reviews, governance meetings.
- Identify, deliver and be involved in continuous improvement opportunities that create value for both customers and Rubix UK.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading office-based operational or sales support teams.
- Strong background within MRO, engineering, industrial distribution or a similar B2B environment.
- Commercial awareness, including sales, margin management, forecasting and cost control.
- Experienced managing procurement and supplier relationships.
- Good understanding of KPI management, service delivery and operational governance.
- Experience using ERP systems and business reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse operational and financial information and translate it into effective business decisions.

Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing, food production, renewable energy or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience delivering supplier consolidation and cost-saving initiatives.
- CribMaster reporting and database experience.
- Formal leadership, operational or project management qualifications.
