Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

Location: Manchester / Hybrid (2 days in the office)

About the Job

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for transforming sales data into meaningful business insight. Partnering with regional leaders across our global sales organisation, you will ensure the processes, systems and controls that underpin our commercial function are effective, scalable and data driven. From pipeline governance and performance reporting to CRM optimisation and strategic planning, you will play a pivotal role in enabling sales success and driving revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage account allocation, segmentation and de-duplication activities to optimise sales coverage and reduce account conflicts.
  • Maintain and improve CRM and marketing systems to enhance data quality, reporting capabilities and process efficiency.
  • Administer sales compensation plans, target setting processes and associated governance activities.
  • Define and enforce sales rules of engagement across business divisions to promote collaboration and alignment.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of sales pipeline and revenue data through governance and exception reporting.
  • Drive CRM data quality initiatives and ensure accurate lead management processes are maintained.
  • Develop and deliver reporting, dashboards and KPI metrics that provide insight into sales performance.
  • Support sales leadership with territory planning, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support and issue triage.
  • Facilitate pipeline review meetings with Sales Management teams.
  • Create and maintain reporting at regional, manager, individual and product/service level.
  • Support sales enablement initiatives through data-driven campaigns and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Provide competitive intelligence, analysis and operational insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to deliver consistent and effective sales processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, controls and business performance.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a Sales Operations, Revenue Operations or similar business operations role.
  • Proven experience working with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.
  • Advanced reporting and analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Domo or Tableau is desirable.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and presenting insights to leadership teams.
  • Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management and performance metrics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with sales compensation planning or governance would be advantageous.
  • Technology, software or SaaS industry experience is desirable.
