About Zen
Zen is focused on delivering exceptional value to customers through innovative solutions, operational excellence, and a high-performing commercial team. As we scale, we are looking for a proactive Sales Operations Manager to make our sales organisation faster, better informed, and more predictable.
Role Overview
The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for optimising sales processes, maintaining CRM integrity, driving reporting and forecasting accuracy, and working with a virtual team to co-ordinate bid responses. This role serves as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership/Teams and collaborates closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams.
The ideal candidate combines analytical rigour with strong business acumen and works with a bias for action — spotting problems and bringing solutions rather than waiting to be tasked. They are curious about AI, actively experiment with new tools to raise the speed and quality of their own work, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Process & Execution
- Design, document, and continuously improve sales processes across the revenue funnel — proactively hunting out bottlenecks and owning the changes that fix them, measured on productivity and conversion impact.
- Drive adoption of best practices across the sales organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
