Job Description
Sales Operations Specialist | Up to £31,000
📍 Peterborough and surrounding areas
🕒 Full-Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

What you'll be doing:
- Ensure the deployment and compliance with the company's values, policies and procedures; set an example in this area
- Contribute to the achievement of the company's objectives in terms of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and contribute to the improvement of the performance and efficiency of these areas.
Account Management:
- Customer account management (creation, edition), NBS management and OneCRM Data Admin
- Credit Block support
- Root cause analysis to identify process gaps in order to improve customer experience
- Gatekeeper to ensure customer data is correct in our system by engaging the relevant departments to update ERP
Data Management:
- Monitoring cash and debt for Europe
- Data consolidation and maintenance (DataStudio, Google Sheets, Tableau)

- Investigate and resolve customer invoice issues to facilitate cash collection for better cash cycle results
- Perform root cause analysis to improve billing quality
Knowledge Sharing:
- Provide expertise to colleagues (CSC, local Team) for SAP or LATIS and Salesforce Field Service
- Share knowledge within Customer Care and be a point of contact for operational questions
- Acting as a mentor during newcomer onboarding
Contract Management/Pricing:
- Pricing revision support with CPL support
- Billing due list Management (interface between local team and CSC)
- Past Due management
Contribute to process improvement:
- Collect pain points on Quote to Cash activities and facilitate process improvement initiatives within the stakeholders (P2P, Global CSC, Collections and Cash Applications) to improve efficiency
- Run Root Cause Analysis for identified process gaps and provide suggestion and/or solutions to leadership for focus areas, improvements
- Be a pioneer for Sales Operations Specialist and Customer care job enrichment
- Be a support to Water Tech transition: help with tools and processes harmonization between ex-WTS and ex-VWT
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification associated with Sales administration or Accounts receivables
Experience:
- Good understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Experience customer care, customer master data, product master data with an ERP (SAP)
- A good understanding of the Veolia business
Skills:
- Excellent English (verbal/written)
- Good French (verbal/written)
- Spanish or Italian (not essential but preferred)
- EPR (SAP) and CRM (Salesforce)
- Google Workspace (Sheets)
- Tableau, DataStudio
- Financial and accounting qualifications (not essential but preferred)
