Role Description
The Sales Order Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Solihull, responsible for managing the end-to-end sales order process. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves:
- Entering and processing customer orders
- Verifying pricing and product codes
- Ensuring accurate and timely order confirmations
- Coordinating with the logistics and suppliers to track deliveries
- Resolving order queries
- Supporting customers with order status updates and documentation
- Maintaining up-to-date records
- Preparing basic reports
- Supporting invoicing and credit note processes
- Assisting with general administrative tasks
- Contributing to continuous process improvements
- Upholding high standards of customer service

Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, document management, and record-keeping.
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle phone and email inquiries professionally and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and familiarity with CRM and/or ERP systems for order processing and reporting.
- Attention to detail and numeracy skills to manage pricing, product codes, and order quantities with a high level of accuracy.
- Time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, logistics, and finance teams and to follow established procedures and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
