Role Description

The Sales Partner role is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving new business and managing ongoing relationships for Avantis Direct’s payment and POS solutions. Day-to-day activities include:

  • Identifying and engaging prospective merchants
  • Presenting product offerings such as card machines, payment gateways, SoftPOS solutions, and merchant cash advances
  • Guiding clients through onboarding and account approval processes
  • Nurturing and growing a portfolio of accounts
  • Working closely with channel partners to expand market reach
  • Providing responsive support to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Tracking sales performance
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM tools
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide feedback that supports continuous improvement of products and services

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
  • Account Management and Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships, handle inquiries, and support merchants throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals within B2B environments.
  • Experience working with Channel Partners to develop joint opportunities and expand market coverage.
  • Relevant qualifications include prior experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or POS solutions; familiarity with merchant cash advance products is beneficial.
  • Additional desirable qualifications include proficiency with CRM software, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and a results-focused mindset is highly advantageous.
