Healthcare Today
Healthcare Today is one of the UK’s leading news brands for healthcare professionals, and we’re looking for a Sales & Partnerships Executive to join our team. You’ll work alongside our Sales & Partnerships Manager to grow our advertiser base, with most of your time spent starting conversations with potential partners and turning them into long-term clients.
Alongside your base salary, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a lot, with uncapped commission, and learn a lot, with dedicated one-to-one mentoring.
This is a no-experience-needed role. We care more about attitude, confidence, writing ability and willingness to talk to people than we do about your experience.
About Healthcare Today
We’re the UK’s go-to source of clinical news, risk and innovation for healthcare professionals. Our content reaches more than 125,000 doctors, practice owners, and healthcare leaders in the UK across our website, weekly newsletter, monthly e-magazine, podcast, webinar series, and growing LinkedIn presence. Our advertisers span pharma, MedTech, healthcare legal, medical indemnity and professional services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We’re growing quickly, building out the commercial team, and have a sister brand launching later this year. It’s a great time to join.
The Role
Most Of Your Week Will Look Like
- Building a pipeline of potential advertisers through outbound calling and email
- Researching healthcare brands and finding the right person to speak to
- Writing thoughtful, targeted outreach
- Booking and running discovery calls
- Working with the Sales & Partnerships Manager on proposals
- Following up consistently and keeping the CRM clean
- Occasional industry events or in-person meetings
This is a hands-on, outbound-led role; the pipeline doesn’t fill itself. But the flip side is, every account you bring in is yours, and your commission will reflect that.
About You
We’re open to recent leavers from school, college or university. What matters more is that you are:
- Confident on the phone. Cold calling is part of the day and won’t be going away.
- A genuinely good writer. The best cold emails read like a human wrote them. We can teach you healthcare. We can’t teach you to write.
- Coachable. You’ll be trained on the products, the audience and how we sell.
- Resilient. In the first few weeks of any sales role, you’ll hear no a lot more than yes.
- Organised. Pipeline discipline is the difference between a good month and a great one.
