Sales Performance Coach
Location - Scotland and NW England
Salary - £50000 plus Bonus and Benefits
Pybus Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and driven Sales Performance Coach to support the ongoing development and success of high-performing automotive sales teams.
This is a highly impactful role with direct influence on sales performance, customer experience, and business profitability. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering structured sales training programmes, providing one-to-one coaching, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the sales function.
Working closely with sales executives and management teams, you will ensure new starters receive exceptional onboarding while supporting existing team members to maximise their performance and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured sales training and onboarding programmes for new starters.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and development for existing sales team members.
- Train teams in outbound calling techniques, lead generation, prospecting, and call structure.
- Coach sales teams on inbound enquiry handling and conversion best practices.
- Deliver training on customer engagement, vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and closing techniques.
- Support Sales Managers in developing upselling skills and achieving key performance indicators.
- Conduct regular call coaching and performance reviews.
- Develop and embed effective sales processes, phraseology, and best practices throughout the sales operation.
- Coach teams on objection handling, communication skills, and maximising sales opportunities.
- Continually identify opportunities to improve performance and deliver a world-class, customer-centric sales experience.
- Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback and recommendations to management.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and engaging sales coach with proven experience developing sales professionals and influencing performance within an automotive environment.
You will be a confident communicator, an effective trainer, and someone who thrives on helping others succeed.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience training and coaching sales teams.
- Automotive industry experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, performance management, and customer journey best practices.
- Ability to coach and develop objection-handling, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Experience delivering both group training and one-to-one coaching sessions.
- Ability to analyse performance and identify development opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
