Intertool is a Ceratizit “Gold” Distributor and the exclusive agent for Utilis Multidec in the UK, Ireland, and Australia, alongside partnerships with leading global tooling brands. The business emphasizes rapid delivery, often same-day or next-day where possible, and provides tungsten carbide rods, strips, and bars in various formats to meet individual customer needs.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Professional. The Sales Professional will:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in precision engineering and tooling
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Promote the company’s product portfolio and technical services

  • Preparing quotations
  • Following up on inquiries
  • Providing product recommendations with support from the engineering team

The role also involves:

  • Conducting virtual meetings and presentations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to meet customer requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM and related systems

The Sales Professional will be expected to:

  • Meet sales targets
  • Contribute to market feedback and product improvement
  • Represent Intertool Ltd in a professional, customer-focused manner

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
  • Customer relationship and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and provide service-oriented support.
  • Basic technical understanding of precision engineering, cutting tools, and workholding, or demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn these domains.
  • Digital and remote-working skills, including proficiency with CRM systems, online meeting tools, and standard office software.
  • Relevant experience in industrial, engineering, or tooling sales is highly beneficial; a background in mechanical or manufacturing engineering is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and travel occasionally for customer visits or events if required.
  • Education in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered.
