Role Description

This full-time, on-site Sales Professional role is based in Birmingham and focuses on promoting Anglian’s home improvement products to residential customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Generating leads
  • Conducting in-person consultations
  • Understanding customer needs
  • Presenting tailored solutions from Anglian’s product range
  • Preparing accurate quotations
  • Following up with prospects
  • Maintaining a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets

The Sales Professional will also:

  • Collaborate with installation and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Uphold Anglian’s standards of service
  • Regularly report, use CRM tools, and participate in training and local marketing activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales or customer-facing roles, ideally within home improvements, construction, or related sectors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers
  • Solid negotiation and closing abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Comfortable conducting on-site visits, product demonstrations, and in-home consultations
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining accurate records and using CRM or sales systems
  • Basic numerical skills for preparing quotations and explaining pricing and financing options
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer availability
  • Valid UK driving license and access to reliable transport for customer visits
