About the Role
AGI is looking for a driven Sales Professional to spearhead growth across mainly cross-channel road freight. You’ll be the engine behind new customer acquisition, hunting for opportunities, building strong pipelines, and converting leads into long-term, profitable partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Win new, regular-trading customers across all freight modes, warehousing, and customs services.
- Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and cold outreach to negotiation and closing.
- Identify untapped markets and sectors to expand AGI’s reach and market share.
- Negotiate profitable rates and ensure strong GP performance per account.
- Collaborate with operations and account management for seamless client onboarding.
- Maintain key relationships post-sale to support retention and upsell opportunities.
- Travel for client visits, networking, and industry events to strengthen partnerships.

What You’ll Bring
- Min 2+ years of proven success in international freight forwarding or logistics new business sales.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Deep understanding of transport and global supply chain dynamics.
- A proactive “hunter” mindset with resilience, drive, and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and CRM proficiency.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to achieving and exceeding KPIs.
