Are you an experienced sales progressor looking for something a little different?
Our client is a highly respected residential managing agent based in Oxted, responsible for the management of the property portfolio of one of the UK’s largest private landlords. They are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Sales Progressor to join their friendly team.
This is a client-side role, acting as the central point of contact between the property managers, appointed estate agents, block managers, solicitors, and occasionally direct with buyers, to ensure residential property transactions progress smoothly from sale agreed through to completion.
If this sounds like the ideal next step for your career, we’d be delighted to discuss the role with you further!
Responsibilities
- Manage residential property sales from offer acceptance through to legal completion
- Act as the primary liaison between internal Property Managers and external estate agents appointed to market and sell properties
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with estate agents and solicitors/conveyancers
- Monitor transaction progress and ensure all parties are working towards agreed milestones and completion dates
- Proactively identify issues that may impact a sale and work with relevant parties to resolve them quickly and effectively
- Chase outstanding documentation, searches, enquiries, mortgage offers, surveys, and contracts where necessary
- Monitor and report on pipeline performance, fall-through risks, and anticipated completion dates
- Escalate complex issues where appropriate and recommend practical solutions
- Support the wider property team in delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
