Sales Project Coordinator
Cardiff
Salary: up to £32,000 + Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Yolk Recruitment are supporting a leading manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of a Sales Project Coordinator to join their commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, speaking with customers and managing projects from enquiry through to qualification. Working closely with decision makers, you'll play a key role in qualifying new project opportunities before handing them over to the internal sales team.

This is what you'll be doing
As Sales Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing incoming project enquiries, qualifying opportunities ready to send onto the sales team, and supporting the commercial team to maximise project conversions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with architects, contractors, developers and business owners to understand project requirements, budgets and timescales.
- Qualifying inbound enquiries to determine commercial viability before passing opportunities to the internal sales team.
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular telephone and email communication.
- Researching and managing live construction projects, ensuring opportunities are progressed through the sales pipeline.
- Maintaining accurate project information, forecasts and customer records within the CRM system.
- Following up quotations and enquiries to maintain customer engagement and maximise conversion opportunities.
- Working closely with Technical, Sales, Customer Service and Marketing teams to ensure customers receive the most appropriate solutions.
- Developing a strong understanding of the company's product range and, over time, interpreting technical drawings and specifications to support project qualification.
- Supporting the commercial team in achieving sales targets through effective pipeline management and customer engagement.

The experience you'll bring
- Previous experience within Sales Support, Account Management or Project Coordination.
- Confident communication skills with an excellent telephone manner.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with customers at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment would be highly advantageous.
- A commercial mindset with the confidence to ask questions and qualify customer requirements.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- An interest in technical products, with the ability to learn drawings, specifications and construction products over time.

- Salary of up to £32,000 depending on experience
- Up to 10% yearly annual bonus
- Monday to Friday working hours with flexibility on start time (i.e. 8am - 4pm/ 8.30am - 4.30pm etc.)
