Sales Qualification Administrator
For more than half a century, Camfil has been helping people breathe cleaner air. As a leading manufacturer of premium clean air solutions, we provide commercial and industrial systems for air filtration and air pollution control that improve worker and equipment productivity, minimise energy use and benefit human health and the environment.
Camfil UK has two production sites based in Haslingden, Lancashire and Gillingham, Kent. Globally, the Camfil group employs over 6000 people and has headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and confident Sales Qualification Administrator to join our team. This role will support the sales process by following up customer quotations, qualifying new business enquiries and ensuring opportunities are recorded accurately within our systems.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in sales or customer service. You will receive full training and have the opportunity to develop your communication, IT and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities
Quote Follow-Up
- Contact customers to follow up on outstanding quotations and help convert them into orders.
- Discuss customer requirements and arrange for quotations to be revised where necessary.
- Find out who our competitors are and understand why quotations have not been successful.
- Record customer feedback to help the business improve its pricing, service and overall approach.
- Identify opportunities for further business with both new and existing customers.

Managing New Enquiries
- Monitor and manage the shared inbound sales email inbox.
- Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Forward enquiries to the relevant department where appropriate.
- Handle new business enquiries directly and ensure customers receive the right support.
- Answer incoming telephone enquiries from potential new customers.
Qualifying New Business Opportunities
- Speak with prospective customers to understand their business and requirements.
- Gather all the information needed for the business to prepare an accurate quotation.
- Establish who the customer currently purchases their filters from.
- Identify any additional products or future business opportunities.
- Ensure qualified enquiries are passed to the correct person or department for quotation and follow-up.
Systems and Administration
- Create new business quotations using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Keep the CRM system accurate and up to date.
- Record notes following telephone calls, emails and other customer communication.
- Maintain clear records of quote progress, customer feedback and agreed next steps.
- Make sure enquiries and opportunities are followed up within the appropriate timescales.

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good general IT skills and confidence using different software systems.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
- A friendly, professional and confident telephone manner.
- Good attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and willingness to follow up opportunities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An interest in developing a career in sales or customer service.
Previous sales or customer service experience would be helpful but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
